Plant Mechanic

Plant Mechanic required for my client who works within the construction industry, based in High Wycombe.

As a plant mechanic, you will play an important part in getting machinery repaired for their customers and their own hire fleet.

Plant Mechanic Job Overview

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to hire fleet machinery.
• Repairing customers' own machinery and equipment.
• Assisting customers when calling in to our premises for either repairs or advice.
• Working out on site, including deliveries where required.
• Completing all relevant paperwork including safety certification along the way.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment within your working area.

Plant Mechanic Job Requirements

• Experience of repairing and servicing vehicles and/or machinery.
• Previous experience in a similar plant mechanic role.
• Familiar with the construction sector.
• Diagnose problems with machines and suggest suitable repairs.
• Used to working with a small team.
• Willing to work away from site when needed.
• Based within a commutable distance of High Wycombe.
• Full UK driving licence.

Plant Mechanic Salary & Benefits

• Salary - £35,000 to £40,000 - dependent upon experience, skill, and qualifications.
• Full-time position, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. 8 am to 4 pm working pattern.
