Job Description:

The Plant and Materials Administrator is working for a busy growing business within the civils sector. This is an ideal entry-level position providing opportunities for progression and career development with a growing company.

Duties
  1. Ordering and management of plant and materials for contracts.
  2. Maintaining detailed records as dictated by the company's quality system.
  3. Checking invoices received against ‘on-hire’ system to ensure correct charges for plant hire and purchase.
  4. Managing on-hire and off-hire plant to prevent excess plant on hire.
  5. Attending handover meetings to determine plant/equipment/material needs of each contract.
  6. Participating in operational meetings when requested.
  7. With support from Senior Supervisors, checking and managing that all materials, plant, equipment, and labor requirements are in place for each job.
  8. Monitoring costs and program schedules for each job.
  9. Assisting others in the selection of plant and materials.
  10. Ensuring compliance with all company processes and systems.
  11. Providing positive support to staff and managing relationships internally and with suppliers/customers.
  12. Providing general administrative support and holiday cover when required.
