Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is seeking a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing strategy and operations, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met. You will drive Lean initiatives, align with senior stakeholders, and optimise production to maximise efficiency while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

The role requires senior management experience in manufacturing, strong cost control, and a track record of delivering continuous improvement across a high-volume plant.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or manufacturing discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience at senior management level within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles and CI methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive KPI improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver manufacturing strategy to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Lead cost-optimisation and capital investment initiatives to improve plant performance.
• Develop and implement Best Practice manufacturing policies and processes.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
• Drive continuous improvement culture across all production areas.
• Report manufacturing performance to senior leadership on a regular basis.
