In the UK, we own, operate, and are significantly developing the 370-acre top tier COMAH site Saltend Chemicals Park (SCP). With a cluster of world-class chemicals and renewable energy businesses, it’s strategically positioned on the UK’s busiest ports complex and at the forefront of our energy transition plans.

The Opportunity

The purpose of the Saltend Chemicals Park Manager is to oversee and support SHEQ, commercial, business, and legislative requirements, and to be the SCP ‘Accountable Person’, ensuring compliance and delivering the px Group Operating Standard through leadership, direction, and management of strategy, actions, and results. You will successfully lead, engage, and manage the SCP leadership team in implementing these objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• HND equivalent level qualification in process/engineering discipline.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Contributions in 24/7 COMAH operations or engineering environments at senior management level.
• Experience in business planning, development, and implementation of improvement strategies and projects.
• Competent authority interaction and relationship management.
• Monitoring initiatives and compliance with company and legislative requirements, ensuring governance.
• Experience with plant SHEQ systems and procedures on a COMAH site.
