Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is recruiting a Plant Maintenance Engineer to support safe site operation and the PPM system. You will help plan downtime for major equipment overhauls, apply cost control, and operate within shifting patterns designed to cover 7 days out of 14 with rota calls and remote monitoring of AD processes.

The role requires electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications and experience in process environments, plus willingness to develop WAMITAB/NEBOSH qualifications.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience in a related process industry is preferred.
• WAMITAB and NEBOSH training desirable.
• Experience with environmental, safety and quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with safe operation of the site.
• Contribute to the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Coordinate downtime for major equipment overhaul.
• Assist with cost control and budgeting within shift patterns.
