Job summary

Plant Maintenance Engineer role in the UK, offering a full-time schedule, Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00, with a salary of £35,000-£42,000 plus overtime and excellent benefits. You will maintain and repair a range of heavy plant and industrial equipment used in construction and production, including diagnostics, inspections and PDIs, to maximise uptime.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant/Vehicle Maintenance or apprenticeship trained.
• Full driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Strong knowledge of plant and machinery.
• Ability to use cutting equipment and welding.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Identify plant issues and deliver proactive maintenance to increase uptime.
• Work in busy workshop and on-site with a team.
• Demonstrate safe working practices at all times.
• Brief operators on issues causing damage or wear.
• Provide effective solutions to plant problems.
• Support development of maintenance processes.
