Position Overview: As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work in conjunction with the controller to maximise the operational availability of equipment for the customer through timely and efficient routine and preventative maintenance servicing and machine inspections. You will identify potential issues impacting availability and carry out minor repairs as requested. During this role, you will serve as an ambassador for safety by servicing products in a manner that promotes safety for yourself and the customer.

Additional Requirements: This is a field-based role. All drivers must have held a full driving license for at least 2 years (subject to DVLA license check).
Working Hours: 43 hours per week with flexible start and finish times. Monday-Friday with one Saturday in three at overtime rates.
Specific Skills: Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics related to servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant or similar equipment such as HGVs.
Accountability: Attend customer sites as advised, perform preventive maintenance, liaise with the service controller and customers, ensure high standards and safety, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Education and Experience: Approximately 3 years of relevant experience or related engineering work such as car mechanics, HGV fitting, agricultural engineering, REME, military vehicle experience, or formal apprenticeship with at least C&G level 1. Training in health & safety is desirable but not essential.
