Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a plant fitter. This workshop-based role involves working on a variety of plant and tools, including petrol & diesel engines, electrical tools, generators and more.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and tools
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working on similar plant and tools
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations

Day-to-day
Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and tools, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of up to £33,000 basic
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 with overtime
  • Working hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, totaling a 47.5-hour week
