Are you an experienced Plant & Tool Hire Fitter looking for a new opportunity? A fantastic position is now available with a well-established company in the industry, and we want to help you land your next role!

As part of their team, you'll be joining a group of highly skilled, experienced, and friendly professionals who work closely together to deliver excellent results.

As a Plant & Tool Hire Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe maintenance, delivery, collection, and distribution of hire equipment. Working within one of the company's depots, you'll be a key player in maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine equipment and vehicle checks
  • Maintain and repair the hire fleet to both company and legal standards
  • Keep up-to-date maintenance records for the hire fleet
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean, safe, and tidy to company standards
  • Take responsibility for the hire fleet within your branch
  • Safeguard company goods against theft
  • Distribute hire equipment using company vehicles
  • Adhere to company transport policies and procedures
  • Provide efficient and safe customer service
  • Complete stock takes as required
  • Support with other branch duties as directed by management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Full UK driving licence (essential for driving company vehicles and attending customer callouts)
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
