Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Plant Engineer to service, maintain and repair crushing and screening equipment across workshop and mobile operations in the Bristol/Somerset area.

The role requires 3+ years of heavy plant experience, strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulics and electrics, and a valid UK driving licence. Expect regular overtime and opportunities for development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' heavy plant experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulics and electrics.
• Experience with transmissions and drivelines.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair crushing & screening equipment.
• Work on Gipo, Finlay, Metso, McCloskey & Powerscreen.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Minimise machine downtime.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Order parts and liaise with management.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Manage your own tools.

Our client is a growing specialist in heavy plant, crushing and screening equipment, supporting customers across the construction, quarrying and recycling sectors. They are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join their team, working across workshop and mobile operations. The Role

Requirements

• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent in:

Salary & Benefits

• Monday-Friday, 07:30-18:00
