About the role

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete service and maintenance for mechanical and non-mechanical plant and specialist equipment, following manufacture guidelines and company processes.
• Report accidents and near misses using the correct methods. Ensure the correct PPE is always used in the depot. Maintain excellent levels of housekeeping, ensure areas are free from waste and trip hazard.
• Order parts as and when required to complete relevant works
• Complete risk assessments with senior management
• Any other adhoc duties

About you

Candidate Expectations:

• Time spent experience as a plant fitter (any sector)
• Experience within the Waste Management sector is advantageous
• Competent with all hand and power tools
• Ability to work alone and manage your own workload

Working Days, Hours, Salary & Perks:

• Monday – Friday (plus 4 hours on Saturday Mornings)
• 7am – 5pm
• Up to £45,000 per year but open to negotiation
