This company provides winch related parts, services and repairs across the UK and overseas. The position is primarily workshop based but some on-site work and driving duties may also be involved from time to time.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Maintenance, repair, testing and inspection of mechanical and powered plant - cable winches/cable drum trailers.
2. Some on-site work and driving duties from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experience of winches, hoists and cable drum trailers will be a real advantage but is not essential.
2. Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrics in other powered plant.
3. Prior experience in the Plant Hire industry and understanding of the demands of this sector is ideal.
4. Backgrounds in agricultural equipment, motor mechanics (commercial vehicles), trailers or lifting equipment will also be considered.
