Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Plant Fitter in Burton on Trent. The role covers planned servicing, overhauls, and maintenance on a varied fleet of heavy plant and foundation equipment from the workshop.

You'll undertake periodic field service visits across England and Wales to handle site repairs, emergency breakdowns, and provide technical support. The position is days-based with overtime at enhanced rate and a generous company bonus.

Qualifications

Holds a Level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Must live a commutable distance from Burton on Trent.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned servicing, overhaul work, and maintenance on a varied fleet of heavy plant and foundation equipment from the workshop.
Undertake periodic field service visits across England and Wales to handle site repairs, emergency breakdowns, and technical support.
Perform advanced fault-finding on hydraulic circuits, diesel engine systems, and basic auto-electrics.
Keep digital and physical maintenance records, service sheets, and defect logs updated.
Minimal stayaway requirement for distant site support, fully covered with company allowances.
