Job summary

GCU UK Ltd is seeking a proactive Plant & Equipment Manager to own our plant and equipment operations, ensuring assets are tracked, allocated to projects, and off-hired on time.

You will drive cost control, maximise utilisation, and deliver clear reports to senior management. Collaboration with operations will help improve processes, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement. Travel to depot locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in plant, equipment, or stock management.
• Ability to use systems and data to support asset management, cost control, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of plant and equipment, ensuring assets are tracked and deployed to projects.
• Ensure timely returns to avoid unnecessary expenditure and support cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to enhance processes and support continuous improvement.
• Carry out inspections, monitor usage, and maintain stock levels.
• Travel to depot locations to stay connected with priorities.
