Path Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Plant Engineer for a leading UK infrastructure engineering business. Nationwide projects, excellent training and long-term career prospects.

You will carry out planned servicing, inspections and fault finding on a wide range of specialist plant equipment used on major infrastructure projects across the UK, with travel nationwide when required. This role offers progression and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Plant Engineer or maintenance of heavy plant or specialist machinery.
• Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Undertake breakdown repairs on site or workshop.
• Ensure equipment meets safety standards and PUWER/LOLER.

About the Role

As a Plant Engineer, you will carry out planned servicing, inspections, fault finding and repairs on a wide range of specialist plant equipment used on major infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Completing preventative maintenance schedules
• Carrying out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and on customer sites
• Ensuring equipment meets LOLER and PUWER requirements
• Recording completed work accurately
• Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
• Travelling nationwide when required to support customer operations

About You

To be successful you should have:
