Plant Engineer

Plant Engineer - Up to £45k DOE and qualifications - Depot based but site visits will be required - van provided

The role requires a candidate who is self-motivated with good powered access and plant maintenance skills with a flexible, enthusiastic attitude to problem-solving in order to maintain a meticulous standard at all times.

Responsibilities of Plant Engineer:

• As a plant fitter you will be working on behalf of a large and prestigious hire company, servicing and repairing all types of powered access and plant equipment such as Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts, Boom lifts, MEWPS, diggers, dumpers, rollers, excavators, telehandlers etc.
• To manage administration tasks and complete all paperwork accurately and on time
• Cover an area across the South East - travel into London will be required.
• Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service
• Maintain Health and Safety to Company standards
• Paid door to door

What you will need to be our next Plant Engineer:

• Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical and Mechanical experience gained in powered access, lorry mounted platforms and plant equipment
• The ability to service, fault find and repair access and plant accordingly
• Good communication skills
• Diagnostics
• Full Driving Licence
• Cap licence preferred but will accept applications from experienced powered access fitters.
