Job Description

Due to ongoing expansion and growth, we are looking to recruit someone to support the Plant Compliance department. This department is responsible for ensuring all hired and owned equipment is maintained and serviced in line with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the day-to-day operation of the Plant Compliance Department as part of the team.
  2. Complete all required administrative tasks.
  3. Ensure our asset management system is always up-to-date with compliance information and documentation, with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Liaise with suppliers to ensure all plant is serviced and maintained.
  5. Action breakdowns within the timeframes of the SLA’s set out to minimize downtime and manage the contract’s expectations.
  6. Raise supplier purchase orders for works carried out and process orders for damages passed from the Compliance Manager.
  7. Liaise with other departments to ensure data integrity, identify discrepancies, and prevent re-occurrences.
Experience and Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will be ambitious, willing to learn, and keen to grow with the company in a busy Plant department.
  • Previous plant hire/hire desk experience is essential. Knowledge of the utilities industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) are essential.
  • An interest in plant hire.
  • The ability to plan your day and prioritize workload.
  • Confident phone manner to liaise with internal and external personnel at all levels.
