Job description

Contract Plant delivers bespoke, comprehensive contract plant rental solutions designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients on an individual basis: ensuring each piece of plant is completely suitable and safe to perform the task you require it to undertake, and future proof.

We offer medium and long term rental opportunities of plant and equipment with concentration on the "Heavy" end of the Construction, Aggregate and Waste handling market requirements with full on-going support, optimising the productivity, efficiency and safety of your operator and plant.

What You'll Do:
  1. Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems across various plant machinery.
  2. Diagnose and calibrate machines, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
  3. Maintain accurate records and provide technical support to junior staff.
  4. Ensure all work is completed in line with safety regulations and customer requirements.
What You'll Need:
  1. Full UK Driving License.
  2. Level 2 Field Engineer or equivalent (mechanical engineering).
  3. Experience with excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, welding, and diagnostic tools.
  4. Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
