Overview

Role: Planning Support Coordinator

Position: Contract

Location: Aztec West Business Park, Bristol

Duration: 12 Months Rolling

Rate: CIRCA £250 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // CIRCA £340 p/d Umbrella

As a Planning Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects. As they move into the next exciting phase of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) journey, they are looking for a proactive and organised Planning Support Coordinator to help steer the Post CS2 programme towards successful delivery. This is a varied and dynamic role, offering the chance to take ownership of key activities, support cross-functional teams, and even lead on sub-projects as you grow.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Coordinate meetings, track actions, and ensure the Post CS2 programme stays on course.
  • Support the development of communication strategies, prepare reports and briefings, and help maintain alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Manage and analyse project schedules, identify risks, and ensure milestones are met.
  • Spot issues early and keep activities moving to ensure programme success.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, organised environment where attention to detail and proactive planning make a real difference.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong organisational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; build relationships across departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and databases.
  • Experience in project or programme support, particularly in complex or regulated environments, is advantageous.
  • Motivated, adaptable, and calm under pressure; committed to delivering high-quality work and continuously improving processes.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; engineers are not required.
