Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Planning Solicitor to join our clients dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice on complex planning and development matters, supporting clients through intricate regulatory landscapes.

Location

This role can also be based in Manchester, Birmingham, or Leeds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on planning applications, enforcement issues, and development proposals
  • Prepare and review legal documentation related to planning permissions
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis
  • Draft and negotiate planning agreements and Section 106 documentation
  • Provide strategic guidance on land use and development strategies
  • Represent clients at planning hearings and local authority consultations
  • Manage complex casework with meticulous attention to detail
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation and regulatory changes
Required Qualifications
  • Qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate
  • Strong understanding of UK planning law and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree in Law or equivalent professional qualification
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in residential or commercial development planning
  • Knowledge of environmental and infrastructure planning
  • Proficiency in digital case management systems
