Planning Solicitor, 2-4 Years PQE, Bristol, £60,000 - £75,000 (DOE) – My client is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Planning Solicitor to join their respected and growing planning team in Bristol. JOB REF:9504.

THE ROLE:
  1. This is a varied and hands-on position offering the chance to work with both public and private sector clients on a wide range of planning matters.
  2. You’ll be advising on everything from planning applications and appeals to enforcement and development consent orders.
  3. The work is high-profile, impactful, and often forms part of nationally significant infrastructure and regeneration projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Advising on both contentious and non-contentious planning matters.
  2. Supporting clients on development consent orders and infrastructure projects.
  3. Drafting and negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements.
  4. Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients from both public and private sectors.
  5. Working closely with colleagues across teams and disciplines.
  6. Supporting business development initiatives and client training sessions.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  1. 2–4 years’ PQE with solid planning law experience.
  2. Exposure to both contentious and non-contentious planning work.
  3. Excellent drafting, legal analysis, and communication skills.
  4. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across all levels.
  5. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  6. Enthusiasm for business development and building client relationships.
