PLANNING SOLICITOR, 3+ PQE, MILTON KEYNES, SALARY UP TO £55-65,000 (DOE) - An excellent opportunity within the planning department of this well regarded firm, with strong career prospects and comprehensive benefits package. JOB REF: 215300674

The firm is currently accepting applications from candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. Applicants should have strong expertise in Planning Law, including:

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the planning system, particularly in relation to commercial and residential development, management of planning-based projects, and general Commercial Property.

• A strong understanding of key planning and infrastructure agreements — such as Section 106, Section 38, and Section 278 — and proven experience working with or against local planning authorities are essential.

• While not essential, knowledge of public law, compulsory purchase, licensing (including liquor and entertainment), and environmental law would be highly advantageous.

• Candidates should have excellent drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills, strong commercial awareness, and a desire to develop professionally. Strong academics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build client relationships are essential.
