PLANNING SOLICITOR, 3+ PQE, MILTON KEYNES, SALARY UP TO £55-65,000 (DOE)

The firm is currently accepting applications from candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. Applicants should have strong expertise in Planning Law, including:

  1. Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the planning system, particularly in relation to commercial and residential development, management of planning-based projects, and general Commercial Property.
  2. A strong understanding of key planning and infrastructure agreements — such as Section 106, Section 38, and Section 278 — with proven experience working with or against local planning authorities.
  3. Knowledge of public law, compulsory purchase, licensing (including liquor and entertainment), and environmental law would be advantageous but is not essential.
  4. Excellent drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills, strong commercial awareness, and a desire to develop professionally. Strong academics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build client relationships are essential.
