The Role:

This is one of the best planning teams in the UK. You will join a fully-geared Partner-led team where you will gain exposure to an exciting and varied workload. Providing a mixture of litigation and project support, on the contentious side you will work on enforcement actions, appeals, public inquiries, compensation claims and judicial challenges, whilst also supporting ongoing advice, drafting and contractual support in relation to planning and environmental matters.

Work spans major infrastructure developments, real estate and a significant amount of renewable energy work across various technologies. With renowned colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical and client relation skills while helping to cement the company's reputation as a leader in the Planning sector.

Requirements:

  • As a guide, this role would suit a Planning Lawyer between 1 - 4 years PQE - however, NQs interested in specialising in Planning and Environmental law will also be considered.

  • Excellent verbal/written communicator with first-rate interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience and a desire to mentor junior team members
