Job Description

A highly regarded international law firm client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its nationally recognised Planning & Infrastructure team in London.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on the energy and transport sectors. The team is noted for its expertise in Development Consent Orders, Transport and Works Act Orders, harbour orders, marine licences, and wider planning and consenting matters. The successful candidate will advise both promoters and objectors on high-profile schemes, including electricity transmission, carbon capture, ports, airports, rail, and renewable energy developments.

This is a compelling opportunity to join a dynamic, cross-office team, well known for its strategic advisory work and involvement in forward-thinking policy development, especially within the transport and energy sectors.

The ideal candidate will have between 6 and 9 years' PQE in planning and infrastructure consenting, gained within a well-regarded UK practice. A strong understanding of the political and regulatory landscape underpinning infrastructure delivery will be essential to success in this role.

This position offers excellent prospects for career progression, a competitive remuneration package, and the chance to be part of a forward-thinking and supportive team engaged in some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
