BCL Legal is pleased to assist a national law firm in seeking a Senior Associate to join its Planning team in Manchester. The role offers an excellent salary, benefits, and training within a national team.

The Role

1. Act on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious planning matters.
2. Handle compulsory purchase work, highways matters, draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements, manage footpath/highway closures, judicial reviews, infrastructure agreements, and village green issues.
3. Work on projects across all sectors.
4. Engage in high-profile projects.

About You

1. 5 PQE+ with experience in planning law.
2. A strong academic background.
3. Excellent technical skills with an innovative approach.
4. Strong client focus and commitment to service delivery.
5. Proven ability to manage and progress matters independently.
6. Good teamwork ethic and a can-do attitude.
7. Aptitude for business development and client-facing experience.
