The candidate will bring an established partner-level practice, strong CPO experience, and deep client relationships in the Yorkshire market, contributing to growth and the firm’s national presence.

Qualifications

  • Partner with a strong track record in planning law.
  • Solicitor with significant planning and CPO experience.
  • Well connected within the Yorkshire market with established client relationships.
  • Experience advising both public and private sector clients.
  • Commercially minded with ability to identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Advising public and private sector clients on complex planning matters
  • Dealing with planning work relating to major infrastructure projects
  • Advising on Development Consent Orders and compulsory purchase orders
  • Handling land compensation and associated development issues
  • Advising on regeneration schemes and major development projects
  • Providing strategic advice on planning applications and appeals
  • Advising on Section 106 planning agreements and highway agreements
  • Working with clients on planning enforcement matters
  • Developing and strengthening client relationships across the Yorkshire market
  • Contributing to the continued growth and profile of the national planning practice

  • Advising public and private sector clients on complex planning matters

Job Offer
  • Salary ranging from £130,000 to £170000
