Planning Operations Analyst

The Role:

As an Operations Planning Analyst for Deckers EMEA, you will be a key member of the Operations Planning team, driving insights to balance demand and supply at the DTC level to enhance in-season service. You will assess service performance to identify opportunities for continual improvement and operational risks. Working with the Planning Operations Manager, you will propose and implement digitization initiatives supporting the planning pillar within EMEA Operations. Your responsibilities include analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on service trends, and making recommendations to optimize planning operations.

Ideal candidates will have experience in operations (Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, or Customer Operations), proficiency with data dashboards, and exposure to programming languages.

Your Impact:

• Analyze inventory data and market trends to identify potential supply chain disruptions.
• Implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Track and report on key metrics, including demand trends and forecast variance.
• Partner with the demand planning team on supply chain activities.
• Visualize data insights for reports and stakeholder negotiations.
• Collaborate with EMEA and global teams to develop and maintain optimal technical solutions and processes.
• Support the Planning Operations Manager in executing operational plans.
• Advocate for process consistency across EMEA planning activities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Commercial awareness of logistics, sales, marketing, finance, and customer needs.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of supply chain theory, inventory metrics, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience in inventory management, forecasting, logistics, or distribution planning.
• Proficiency in data literacy, dashboards, and quantitative analysis.
• Strong database and Excel skills.
• Exposure to programming languages.
