Planning Officer

Contract Role until Jan 2020

South East London

£12.35 p/h

35 hr week

9am – 5pm

Our client, a large council based in South East London, are looking for a Planning Officer to cover a contract position until January.

The successful candidate will be able to;

  • Evaluate applications for planning permission and making sure that the planning meets the Town and Country Planning acts, as well as the Council’s policies.
  • Liaising with Council planning staff re strategies and regeneration.
  • Deal with enquires from developers/potential developers, public, local authorities, council members and clients. Enquires re planning, regeneration, development issues, development control, policies etc.

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level or have planning experience.
