Planning Officer needed in Colwyn Bay Paying £24.75 per hr ref OR12372

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of planning officers, providing guidance and support on Development Management matters.
• Manage and process major and complex planning applications, pre-application enquiries, and appeals.
• Act as the lead officer at Planning Committee meetings, presenting cases and advising members.
• Vet planning applications to ensure they meet statutory requirements and allocate cases appropriately within the team.
• Ensure all work is delivered to high standards and within statutory deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery and team performance.
