A local government authority in the Liverpool City Region is seeking a dedicated Planning Officer to join their Development Management team. Responsibilities include processing planning applications, providing guidance to applicants, and ensuring high standards of customer care. The ideal candidate will possess a qualification in Town Planning or relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a flexible, positive approach to work. This role offers flexible hours and a salary range of £37,280 - £40,777 per annum.

Job requirements:
You will be responsible for processing planning applications and appeals, providing guidance to applicants, agents, and the general public on matters related to the Planning Service.
You will need to have a flexible and positive approach to work, along with significant knowledge of planning legislation and guidance. We require a strong commitment to customer care and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
