An Essex Local Authority is seeking an experienced Planning Officer to join their Development Management team and manage a caseload of householder and minor applications.
Process householder and minor applications efficiently
Attend the office weekly; remaining work remote
Ensure decisions meet national and local policy and statutory deadlines
Support the wider Development Management team
Experience in Development Management, especially householder / minor applications
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
Knowledge of planning legislation and local policies
£40 / hr (inside IR35) | Hybrid working
Initial 3-month contract with extension potential
