Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Luton is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee project planning and execution on site, with a minimum of four office days per week. You will coordinate MRPII material schedules, analyse costs, manage budgets and lead a multi-functional team to drive on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis and BOM planning skills, with responsibility for risk management and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans and MRPII material schedules.
• Analyse costs and use data to adjust budgets and EAC.
• Lead requirements review meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Study BOMs and plan changes for embodiments and builds.
• Allocate resources and oversee multi-project execution.
• Provide regular status updates to IPTs and senior management.
• Coach and develop team members and ensure data integrity.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
