The MEPPanner Role

As an MEP Planner, you will:

  • Understand the full scope of MEP work, interfaces with building works, and the phased commissioning strategy.
  • Coordinate with client requirements for system integration.
  • Recognize constraints of the client's design team delivery programme.
  • Develop and validate individual trade contractor programmes, including design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure programmes reflect agreed constraints, methods, sequences, and logistics.
  • Integrate all trade contractor programmes into a fully coordinated SRM programme.
  • Develop and manage KPIs to measure progress across all project phases.
  • Record and analyze progress, prepare reports, and maintain as-built programmes.
Your Profile
  • Good knowledge of building-based MEP systems.
  • Understanding of the commissioning process in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in PowerProject and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with 3D modeling.
  • Strong planning and programming skills.
  • Background in mechanical or electrical trade contracting.
  • Understanding of the commercial impacts of planning.
  • Familiarity with 4D planning environments.
