Movar Reply is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our growing Project Controls team, supporting Severn Trent Water projects from Tamworth. The role is a secondment into the end client, four days per week onsite with some local flexibility, offering career progression within a major infrastructure programme (AMP8/AMP9).

You will lead a team of 4–5 planners, drive integrated programme development, monitoring, and reporting, while collaborating with project managers, commercial teams,

Competenze

• Significant experience as Planning Manager or Lead Planner in major infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, utilities or capital works programmes.
• Strong NEC contract experience including programme management, change control and reporting.
• Experience managing planning teams and developing planning capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work from Tamworth four days a week.
• Water sector experience and AMP programmes preferred.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment or network infrastructure.

• Lead planning and scheduling activities across a portfolio of wastewater projects.
• Lead a team of 4–5 Planners with consistency and best practice.
• Develop, maintain and manage integrated project programmes from inception through completion.
• Monitor programme performance, progress and milestones across multiple projects.
• Support governance processes and programme controls through AMP8 and future AMP9 investments.
• Drive improvements in planning processes, systems and project controls capability.
• Provide strategic planning insight to support investment decisions and project prioritisation.
• Mentor and develop junior planners and foster a high-performing culture.
