- Preparing and submitting appraisals, statements and applications for projects, changes of use and Certificates of Lawfulness
- Selecting and managing the relationships with external advisors and specialist consultants
- Preparing objections to proposals on neighbouring properties
- Monitoring local plans to assess the impact on sites
- Attending site and review meetings when needed
There will also be the chance to travel to sites to see the impact of your work which will involve travel up to a couple of times per month (with possibly an overnight stay).
I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as a Planning Manager, Lead; Senior Planner; or Project Planner on (ideally) commercial or rural construction / development projects - either in-house, for an LPA or at a consultancy. An accredited degree in Town Planning (or similar) and being a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRPTI) is essential for this opportunity alongside a strong working knowledge of the Town and Country Planning system and Biodiversity Net Gain (and the implications).
