Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading global manufacturer in Rotherham to recruit an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning and scheduling function. This is a pivotal role as the site expands with significant investment to boost production.

The successful candidate will manage health, safety and environmental compliance within scheduling, and work closely with sales and production to meet customer OTIF demands.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial manufacturing scheduling environments.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements in scheduling or planning.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders from operatives to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the scheduling team, driving performance against business objectives and proposing process improvements.
• Own health, safety and environmental compliance within the scheduling department (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001).
• Work closely with sales and production to ensure customer requirements are scheduled, produced and dispatched OTIF.
• Manage raw material and production planning across primary and secondary processes, optimising supply and reducing bottlenecks.
• Deliver against financial and stock targets, carrying out regular reviews and providing recovery plans where needed.
• Develop and train the team, manage HR responsibilities, and report on departmental KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
