A leading infrastructure firm in London is seeking a Planning Manager to lead programme planning across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has proven experience in complex infrastructure projects and advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. This role offers a salary between £60,000 and £90,000, depending on experience, with a hybrid work setup and potential for permanent or contract employment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on large infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities


- Lead and manage the programme planning function across multiple work packages and disciplines.
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6.
- Integrate design, procurement, and construction schedules to create a single, coherent programme.
- Monitor progress, identify variances, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct scenario planning, "what-if" analysis, and programme risk assessments.
- Produce regular planning reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.

About You
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on large, complex infrastructure projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and a strong grasp of programme integration principles.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary projects (civils, MEP, structures, architecture).
- Background in airport projects or other highly regulated environments (rail, nuclear, defence) is highly desirable..
- Relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, or project controls.

The clients preference is a permanent candidate although for the right person would consider contract. This would then sit Inside IR35.
Salaries will vary, from £60,000 - £90,000 DOE + package
Start dates - September to October and notices will be considered
The work set up will be TUES WEDS THURS in the site offices and MON FRI at home
