Qualifications

  • Open to frequent travel and onsite work in Belfast or Prestwick.

Job Description

Your Role:

Based directly at our client’s site, a world-renowned aerospace supplier, your role will be to improve supply chain logistics performance.

Your key tasks include:

  • Processing orders and forecasts.
  • Monitoring logistics performance: developing action plans, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and analyzing workload/capacity.
  • Tracking work-in-progress: supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  • Coordinating with purchasing, quality, and engineering teams.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all planning and logistics operations comply with aerospace-specific standards (e.g., AS9102, ISO 9001).
  • Conduct risk assessments related to scheduling delays, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen operational challenges.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Engineering degree or master's in logistics or supply chain management.
  • First experience in logistics, preferably in the industrial sector (aerospace, automotive, railway).
  • Knowledge of Air Supply and quality methodologies (VSM, SCMH audit, 8D/QRQC) is appreciated.
  • Fluency in English and frequent travel
  • Open to 3-4 days onsite a week, in Belfast or Prestwick (Scotland)
  • Open to Travel to other sites in UK.
