Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS), Serco operates across 105 courts and 16 vehicle bases throughout London, East & West England. We transport over 21,000 custodies per month, with our Operational Control Centre Team (OCC) ensuring timely, safe, and secure transportation.

We provide job stability, security, and pathways into supervisory or management roles. The centre operates 24/6, with various shift patterns including nights and weekends on a rota basis, typically 12-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with flexible options.
Daily responsibilities include:
Delivering the PECS Plan to ensure scheduled movement of custodies, working closely with crews and establishments to ensure timely, safe, and secure transportation. You will manage data from court and prison locations, crew routes, and trackers to produce robust schedules, adapting to changes and handling incidents as they arise.
Candidate requirements:
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, highly organized, resilient, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience in large-scale logistics or scheduling is preferred but not essential, as full training is provided. Computer literacy and the ability to process large data volumes are necessary.
