Job summary

Jobs4 is seeking a Planning and Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end planning, inventory control and warehouse operations within a well-known manufacturing group. You will partner with Commercial, Production Operations, Suppliers and Distribution teams to optimise performance and deliver excellent customer experience while adhering to ISO guidelines.

As a senior leader, you will develop operational schedules, oversee raw material planning, ensure stock accuracy, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Leadership across Production Planning, Inventory Management and Warehouse & Logistics in manufacturing.
• Analytical, numerate and results oriented with strong IT skills.
• Experience in developing teams and improving performance.

The Business-

Role Overview-

Part of the leadership team, the Planning and Logistics Manager is accountable for leading end to end planning, inventory management & Warehouse operations. You will collaborate with Commercial, Production Operations, Suppliers & Distribution teams to drive optimal performance & achieve excellent levels of customer experience, contributing to the overall achievement of business KPIs. To operate within the guidelines of ISO standards.

Production Planning

• Accountable for developing the operational schedule; optimising available materials, resources & machine capacity, resulting in optimal production efficiency & delivering excellent levels of customer experience
• Working with Operational teams; monitor and review performance to drive adherence to the plan. Identifying opportunities and adapt the operational schedule where required

Materials & Inventory Management

• Oversee the planning & control of raw materials to support production schedules
• Ensure optimal inventory levels, balancing availability with KPI targets
• Accountable for driving stock accuracy, ERP / WMS disciplines & strong stock control (obsolescence and slow-moving items)

Skills & Experience-

You will proven leadership experience across Production Planning, Inventory Management, Warehouse & Logistics functions within a manufacturing environment. With a mindset which wants to optimise processes & drive continuous improvement, you will be a confident people manager who experience in developing teams & individual performance. Highly analytical, numerate & results orientated with strong IT skills.
