Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Lead and manage planning applications for solar and battery developments.
  • Provide planning advice and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and policies.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support project development.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in planning policy and legislation.
  • Represent the organization at planning committees, inquiries, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support business development activities by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • Chartered membership of RTPI or eligibility.
  • At least three years of town planning experience in relevant sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and policies.
  • Experience in energy projects, renewable energy, or related sectors (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, able to work independently and in teams.
