Planning Lawyer – East Herts District Council

Salary: Total remuneration up to £62,169 per annum!

Once monthly in-person attendance required for Planning Committees

About the Role

As the council’s sole Planning Lawyer, you will:

• Provide expert legal advice on complex planning matters, including Section 106 agreements, enforcement actions, and public inquiries.
• Support high-profile projects shaping East Hertfordshire’s future.
• Advise and guide elected members and officers, with a key role in Planning Committees.
• Develop innovative legal solutions for a dynamic planning authority.
