Full time hours on a temporarybasis

• We are seeking a skilled and motivatedPlanning Solicitorto join our dynamic Development Team. This role involves delivering high-quality legal services across development, planning, highways, and local government law, supporting strategic objectives and contributing to external income generation.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload of both contentious and non-contentious legal matters.
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents, including planning and highways agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders, committees, and external partners.
  • Represent the organisation at inquiries, tribunals, and court proceedings.
  • Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to training and development.
  • Stay up to date with legislative changes and case law developments.
  • Contribute to income generation through external legal work.
  About You
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in planning and development law.
  • Strong drafting, advocacy, and advisory skills.
