Job Objectives

As an experienced Project Controls Professional in life sciences or data centres, you will establish processes, templates, and tools, and agree on the baseline for cost and schedule. You will monitor performance, incorporate risks, opportunities, and changes in a controlled manner. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying trends and root causes of deviations, recommending remedial actions to optimize value for the client.
  2. Leading evaluation of project’s time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls for successful delivery.
  3. Cooperating with remote cost management teams to reach an agreed, market-tested cost baseline ensuring value for money.
  4. Guiding and influencing general contractors to progress according to schedule and within cash flow parameters.
  5. Serving as the main client contact, resolving delivery and commercial issues, and preparing reports on time, cost, and quality.
  6. Controlling costs with knowledge of conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, contingency, and procurement principles.
  7. Creating or working within cost reports, summarizing financials in executive dashboards.
  8. Understanding and leading change management processes, tracking and approving changes.
  9. Coordinating planning sessions and workshops to develop and agree on project schedules and critical paths.
  10. Managing procurement timelines, communicating schedule requirements to vendors and clients.
  11. Participating in risk evaluations, integrating risks into Monte Carlo simulations for project impact analysis.
  12. Monitoring project changes and communicating updates for approvals.
  13. Ensuring vendors provide timely schedule updates and adhere to process and quality standards.
Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in project controls across all project phases, especially in life sciences or data centres.
  • Ability to analyze data, determine corrective actions, and evaluate information critically.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Commitment to excellent service.
  • Reliability, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong time management, quick thinking, and deadline adherence.
  • Motivated, driven, and independent worker.
