With Planning Engineer opportunities at all levels, wherever you join us, you'll play a central role in making exciting and diverse projects a reality. Valued up to £100m, your projects will range across the construction sector. You'll be trusted to lead your team and supported to develop further, through a portfolio of structured training and opportunities to help expand your career. Your purpose:

  • To drive the overall integrated P6 programme.
  • To liaise with Project Managers to maintain programme schedules and provide hierarchical performance reporting.
  • To correlate schedule, cost and risk assessments to inform decision-making and lead on "what-if" scenario planning.
  • To provide detailed analysis of contractors' programmes.
  • To lead on integrating scheduling across all projects within you remit.
  • To support the Project Controls Manager and lead on contractor requirements, working with delivery and procurement teams.
  • To collaborate with project delivery teams, specialist client directorates and external stakeholders.
  • And to proactively drive continuous improvement and provide specialist advice.
  • A track record of achievement in planning within large-scale construction or defence projects.
  • Experience in leading teams of professionals in a complex business environment.
  • Construction project planning expertise gained across a range of large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects, with a sound understanding of project management principles and applications.
  • An understanding of commercial elements within large, complex projects and a track record of achievement in driving value.
  • A good understanding of programme contractual requirements, including NEC clauses.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A recognised degree or similar professional qualification.
