The role involves providing planning and programme management support across the HPC project, ensuring compliance with internal and external measures to mitigate contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning Requirements:
  • Manage project planning tools, including PRIMAVERA P6.
  • Understand MRP and implement cost transfer between multi-site manufacturing activities.
  • Coordinate transfer of completed equipment from France/UK sites, including transport, storage, and documentation.
  • Create and update project work plans to meet evolving project and client needs.
  • Assist Project or Sales Managers with costing and programme matters during contract securing.
  • Expedite sub-supplier materials.
  • Review workers' progress daily.
  • Experience with planning for NEC contracts.
  • Site Support:
    • Provide documentation for manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
    • Participate in site installation and commissioning activities as needed.
    • Contribute to cost control and financial monitoring.
    • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Sales Follow-up:
    • Promote company products and services, ensuring safety and standards compliance.
    • Establish and adhere to project plans and milestones.
  • Commercial Follow-up:
    • Follow up on quotations, incorporate customer feedback, and seek additional scope opportunities.
    • Support payment collection and claims processing.
    • Prepare monthly project reports.
  • Project Activity Monitoring:
    • Attend follow-up meetings with clients during tendering and project phases.
    • Plan, prepare, coordinate, and consolidate technical and commercial activities.
    • Provide regular updates on project status to the Project Manager or Managing Director.
    • Identify and propose mitigation strategies for technical, commercial, and financial risks.
    • Interpret engineering scope of works.
    • Set goals, plan, and proactively follow up to meet targets.
    • Prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
    Candidate Expectations:
    • Education: HNC/HND or higher in electrical engineering, or at least 5 years' experience in a similar project engineering role.
    • Languages: Professional proficiency in English and French.

    Skills: Internet, Intranet, Email (Outlook), CAD.

    Experience in areas such as O&G, Power, MMM, Nuclear, Rail, Utilities, or large infrastructure turnkey projects.
