Planning Engineer Apprentice

Job description

Since our early days, the development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competence at MAHLE. Because we understand the interaction of engine components, we can deliver optimal solutions to our customers. Our products are used around the globe in two-wheeled vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and large engines.

Your contribution:

• Provide technical and administrative support to the Engineering and Production departments.
• Control and manage product drawings and documentation within the SAP database.
• Assist engineers in revising and editing 2D/3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Edgecam.
• Support tooling coordination and communicate with the tool room for repairs and updates.
• Participate in engineering improvement projects and help maintain process efficiency.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Higher level qualifications in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD or other CAD software (2D CAD experience preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a structured apprenticeship programme.
