Job Description

Currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position ofSenior Planning Engineer in Middlesbrough to work on mixed carbon capture/hydrogen projects.

Market-leading advisory company focused on providing technical and advisory services to the global energy industry.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Undertake planning, programming, and progress control as part of the planning team, managing all aspects of project planning, programming, and monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.
  • Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities on all planning-related matters.
  • Appraise and coordinate subcontractors' programmes, providing feedback on changes to the main programme.
  • Prepare and present reports on programme progress, and attend and contribute to site and associated meetings.
  • Update progress and produce variance reports as needed, including critical path and earned value analysis, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in managing changes and their impact on programmes and progress.
  • Prepare comprehensive site layout sequences and necessary presentations.
  • Implement company procedures.
  • Collaborate openly with the delivery team in producing and reporting the programme, maintaining good working relationships.
  • Work effectively with other planners to develop an integrated programme.
  • Manage the supply chain programme and incorporate it into the master schedule.


Qualifications:


  • HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering
