About Our Client

Page Group is working with an industry-leading logistics provider based in Huddersfield, seeking a new Planning & Dispatch Manager. This newly created role will manage real-time planning for a field-based function, overseeing field planning, Customer Service, and Admin activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 55 FTE across three areas, including real-time field planning, Customer Service, and Admin, with three direct reports.
• Oversee reactive and real-time field planning supporting field operations, ensuring contractual SLAs are met.
• Coordinate with B2B customers to keep them updated on order status and changes.
• Provide back-office support linking Customer Service, Planning, and administrative tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across complex customer operations involving both field and internal functions.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Collaborate with pre-planning teams to ensure a cohesive customer strategy.

The Successful Candidate

• Experience in planning for complex field operations such as transport, logistics, or engineering.
• Ability to manage varying contractual agreements.
• Proven track record working in time-sensitive environments.
